It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that the North Highlands Engine Company #1 announces the passing of our beloved Charter Member, Edward F. Englebride. Ed was one of our Founding Members, playing an integral role in establishing our District and Company. His dedication and leadership were evident as he served as one of our first Commissioners, holding a seat from 1969 until 1978. Ed’s commitment to our community and his fellow firefighters was unwavering, and in 1988, he was honored with our Harold “Pete” Lynt Award, a testament to his outstanding service. Ed’s legacy will forever be etched in the history of our Company, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
